Ebony Swank is an American fashion designer, business woman, founder and CEO of Swank A Posh, a chain of brick and mortar and online retailer of women’s fast fashion clothing. Known for having the world’s stretchiest jeans, Mrs. Swank has turned what was once a failed retail clothing store, into a multi-million-dollar eight figure operation.

After leaving high school early, and having her first daughter at nineteen, Ebony was still determined to create a better life for herself. While working several jobs and saving money, Ebony started her first entrepreneurial venture,but a chance encounter with a clothing salesperson would forever change her career path. After learning about the revenue and profit potential in the retail clothing field, Ebony set out on her first attempt at opening a store in 2009.

Based on newly discovered data, only $12,000 and an idea, Ebony realized that she had an opportunity to produce uniquely styled clothing for an underserved niche market of black women and the diverse body types of various ethnicities. Ebony then took the remaining money that she had from her original store, found a new cheaper brick and mortar location, and boarded a plane to Los Angeles to meet with various clothing vendors. After negotiating prices to purchase inventory, the new improved version of Swank A Posh that we know today as being the home of the World’s Stretchiest Jeans was launched!

Swank A Posh has amassed a huge social media following. Known for its super stretchy SuperGa Jeans, trend setting fashion, and popular try-on videos, Swank has become a go-to for women of all sizes, shapes and ethnicities. Swank prides itself on providing stylish quality clothing at an affordable price that helps give women confidence by accentuating women's curves for all body types.

Swank A Posh has multiple locations in the Metro Detroit area, and a massive online consumer base. Ebony has also been able to achieve one of her dreams by helping to employ young black women with entry level experience, and mentoring them into high level executives, who have the capability to handle any boardroom setting. Teaching women how to become comfortable and confident in their own skin is the mission of Swank A Posh.
